Tiny planet, 2020

Andreea Medar & Mălina Ionescu

#Foisoruliumarul9, Bucharest

Tiny planet continues a theme central to the common projects of the two artists, the overlapping and merging of meaningful places into a fictional map – segments of roads and streets, parts of villages and cities, buildings and other places that hold memories or define experiences, spatial and temporal sequences and identities. The puzzle of the common map fills the entire floor as it develops from a dialogue that overlays, onto actual locations, the intentional, virtual – possible future reality of the common artistic project.
